
While most of the country is blanketed in snow. We see the snowline in the mountains receding. Way off in the distance Little White mountain reminds us that the mountain passes remain winter driving conditions.

Oregon grape shrubs show off their burgundy and dark green leaves. Later in the summer they produce deep blue berries.
In early spring they stand out against the grey grasses.

As I climb the backside of Mission Hill the buds on the Saskatoon bushes are just about ready to burst open!
All they need is a couple of warm days.
